As a palliative care physician at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care for patients facing serious illness. From a young age, I was drawn to medicine because of my passion for helping others and tackling complex scientific challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of caring for homebound patients, working both as a palliative care and primary care physician. These experiences have allowed me to build meaningful relationships with patients, getting to know them personally, understanding what matters most to them, and supporting them through both moments of crisis and moments of calm.

I specialize in providing inpatient palliative care consultations, where I work closely with patients and their families, helping them navigate difficult decisions during challenging times. My approach is centered on advocacy—ensuring that patients receive the best possible care aligned with their values. I have honed my skills in listening and understanding the unique needs of each patient, which I believe is a powerful tool in providing effective care. In recognition of my dedication to patient care, I was honored to receive the “Dedication and Outstanding Clinical Work in General Internal Medicine” award from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in January 2017.

I deeply enjoy the collaborative nature of my work, particularly the opportunity to work alongside an outstanding team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Together, we provide comprehensive care that addresses not only the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients.
