As a pulmonary and critical care physician at NYU Langone Pulmonary & Critical Care Associates, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care that prioritizes the wellbeing of my patients. I specialize in managing patients with bronchiectasis and non-tuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections, conditions that require a nuanced and detailed approach to care.

My extensive experience in these areas enables me to offer advanced treatment options and participate in cutting-edge clinical trials. In my role as the co-director of the Bronchiectasis and NTM Clinical and Translational Program, I am deeply involved in both the clinical and research aspects of these complex conditions. I combine clinical expertise with a commitment to advancing medical education and research and strive to ensure that patients receive personalized treatment tailored to their specific needs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Throughout my 23 years as the program director of NYU Langone's pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship, I have honed my skills in medical education and mentorship. My role as the associate director for clinical and academic affairs at NYU Grossman School of Medicine further underscores my dedication to fostering the next generation of physicians. I also have the honor of chairing significant professional medical meetings, such as the 6th World Bronchiectasis & NTM Conference and the 1st North American Bronchiectasis and NTM Symposium.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a profound interest in respiratory health and a desire to make a meaningful impact through patient care and education. Serving as the immediate past president of the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) and my involvement with the COPD Foundation as the chairperson for the Bronchiectasis Clinical Care Network Steering Committee reflects my ongoing commitment to improving patient outcomes through research and collaboration.
