About Me
Since 1996, delivering compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered cardiovascular care has been at the heart of my practice. I strive to provide comprehensive cardiac care focused on both primary and secondary prevention, empowering patients to actively manage their heart health.
My treatment philosophy extends beyond medications and procedures. I emphasize identifying and addressing lifestyle factors that contribute to cardiovascular disease. Through patient education, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based interventions, we can often reduce or even eliminate the need for pharmacological treatment, ultimately enhancing long-term outcomes.
As a dedicated cardiologist, I diagnose, manage, and treat patients with all aspects of heart disease, addressing both modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors. Conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes are key contributors to cardiovascular disease, and effective management is essential for prevention and treatment. I also treat symptomatic cardiac issues, including angina, arrhythmias, and heart failure, ensuring patients receive individualized, evidence-based care. Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in managing hard-to-control high blood pressure, often using affordable, generic medications to make treatment more accessible.
As an invasive cardiologist, I perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization, a vital procedure for evaluating coronary artery and valvular disease. This provides invaluable insights to guide appropriate treatment strategies. Beyond coronary interventions, I also specialize in outpatient procedures for chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins—conditions that, if untreated, can significantly impact quality of life.
Through minimally invasive techniques such as endovenous ablation, sclerotherapy, and compression therapy, I help patients alleviate symptoms like leg swelling, pain, and fatigue. Treating venous insufficiency also promotes physical activity, improving circulation, reducing the risk of deep vein thrombosis, and supporting overall cardiovascular health.
The field of cardiology continues to evolve, offering innovative treatments, minimally invasive procedures, and improved management strategies that enhance both survival and quality of life. As I reflect on my journey, I am filled with gratitude and enthusiasm for the future of cardiovascular medicine. My commitment to staying at the forefront of emerging advancements ensures I can continue providing the highest standard of care, helping my patients lead healthier, longer lives.
