As an associate program director and director of critical care education for the internal medicine residency program at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. My role as an attending physician in the Tisch Medical Intensive Care Unit allows me to care for critically ill patients, a responsibility I find both challenging and deeply rewarding. I am passionate about medical education and strive to foster a learning environment that emphasizes the importance of patient–provider relationships.

I specialize in critical care medicine, with a particular focus on respiratory failure and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). With years of experience in the field, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities involved in managing critically ill patients. My credentials include extensive training in internal medicine and pulmonology, which equip me with the expertise needed to handle a wide range of critical conditions. My commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in critical care ensures that my patients receive the most effective and innovative treatments available.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aspects of critical care, including serving as an attending physician in the surgical intensive care unit at the NY Harbor Manhattan VA Hospital. My work extends to consulting as a pulmonologist for LiveOnNY, where I contribute to the care of patients with complex respiratory conditions. My dedication to medical education is evident in my role in simulation training, which helps prepare the next generation of physicians for the challenges of critical care medicine.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families. I pursued my medical degree with a focus on internal medicine and pulmonology, driven by a fascination with the intricacies of the human respiratory system and the critical nature of intensive care. As part of the NYU Langone Health system, I am proud to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring that my patients receive coordinated and seamless care.
