At NYU Langone’s Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Â鶹ÊÓƵapp Center, we combine visionary thinking and compassionate care with the science of treating cancer. We are a National Â鶹ÊÓƵapp Institute (NCI)–designated Comprehensive Â鶹ÊÓƵapp Center and part of NYU Langone Health, one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers.

We specialize in the treatment of all cancer types and our give patients access to the newest, most innovative therapies, allowing us to deliver tomorrow’s best treatments today.

Building on this foundation of innovative research and exceptional care, our Center for Molecular Oncology is a centerpiece of personalized cancer treatment, leveraging advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques to create detailed molecular profiles of each tumor. This enables our oncologists to develop highly individualized and effective cancer care plans.

In addition, Perlmutter Â鶹ÊÓƵapp Center oncologists use a variety of innovative technologies such as MRI-linear accelerator (MR-LINAC) radiation therapy, which combines high-resolution MRI and a photon linear accelerator, to treat cancer more precisely than conventional approaches. We also specialize in targeted therapies that home in on cancer cells, while sparing healthy tissue; immunotherapies, which boost the immune system to fight cancer; and personalized cell therapies, which can harness the power of a patient’s own immune cells to identify and attack cancer directly. Throughout the treatment process, our experts monitor each patient’s response so that care plans can be adjusted in real-time to achieve the best possible outcomes.

As part of our mission, we also work to educate the community and healthcare professionals about the latest cancer research, screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
