At Perlmutter Â鶹ÊÓƵapp Center, we offer different types of infusion therapies as part of your treatment for cancer, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. If you require infusion therapy, your oncologist works with you to decide which type of treatment is most effective and provides a referral to one of our Infusion Center locations.

Infusion therapy is recommended when medication needs to be injected directly into the blood, instead of being taken by mouth. Most infusion treatments are delivered through a needle or a port, which is a small medical device that is placed under the skin for direct access to a vein.

Our team at all infusion locations includes certified oncology-trained nurses, pharmacists, dieticians, therapists, and social workers, who work together to provide compassionate, personalized care and address any concerns you may have. We also offer a private and relaxing environment with recliners and therapeutic activities that ensure your comfort during treatment.

We also offer infusion treatment for other immune-related disorders or conditions, including Crohn’s disease, congestive heart failure, and gastrointestinal diseases.
